Nominations for the Academy Awards are out. Best Picture is the one that I follow and here are the films up for it:
“Avatar”
“The Hurt Locker”
“The Blind Side”
“District 9″
“An Education”
“Inglourious Basterds”
“Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ By Sapphire”
“A Serious Man”
“Up”
“Up in the Air.”
Which ones have you seen and do you agree that they should be up for Best Picture?
The only one I’ve seen is District 9 while I was traveling (whew, got that word in there somehow) to Singapore. It was a bit odd and creepy and started of a bit slow, but grew as it continued. I’m not sure it should be up for Best Picture, though.
