Wait! You’re in the right place!

This is the beginning of the new Germany Doesn’t Suck.

Blogger finally pissed me off enough to switch services (I hadn’t been able to post since Sunday), so I’ve jumped ship to Wordpress. I’m still getting moved in at the time, though. However, that doesn’t mean blogging will stop – only that the page will probably look a bit different everytime you see it for a bit while I’m figuring Wordpress out (so it might be a bit wonky).

Okay, I think I’m off to a good start, but have a heck of a long way to go. So far it hasn’t been too difficult (mainly because I know quite a bit about html). Also, I know that I have to blogrolls, but can’t decide if I’ll stay with my old blogrolling one (I like the ‘updated’ bit) or switch to Wordpress’. Enough for one day.

I’d love to hear some reviews of Wordpress as you go along. I’m going to be setting up a blog for my public life and won’t be using blogger.

I took my name in Wordpress, but so far I have liked blogger and don’t want to deal with moving all my widgets over. Keep updating us on how you like it.
