Forced migration

Alternate title: Just a warning to all that haven’t migrated yet.

Blogger asked me if I wanted to switch to New Blogger on Saturday, and I clicked the button saying that I didn’t and it let me access Old Blogger and make my post. When I made my post yesterday morning, Blogger forced me to migrate to New Blogger.

Also, the html I had on yesterday’s post didn’t work (I know it was correct), so apparenlty some html has been blocked or something like that (I haven’t had time to mess around with it yet). Also, no matter what the time settings are, the post time and date defaults to US format (but shows up according to your settings after the post is made).

thanks for the heads up. i have a second older blog on blogger, so i guess I’ll be moving.

They forced me to migrate last week and yeah, some stuff went screwy. I also had another blog with a different user name and password that I used just for my family and because it was attached to my regular Gmail address Blogger stuck it with my other blogs (Mausi, test blog, a couple of group blogs) which I did NOT want because they all showed up in the profile for the family blog. Had to delete that blog a make a whole new one. I wish Blogger had gotten the bugs out first before they made everyone move.#

Some people have lost their entire blogs though or are unable to post or upload anything so I guess we can be happy that we at least got this far. :-)
